General Information

Lets start off by stating the obvious.

Modeling whether it’s fashion, glamour or any other kind of modeling is HARD WORK. There are no easy ways to make money and no guarantees that you will ever sell any of your work.
Have I put you off yet?, I hope not.

If a photographer ever tells you that he can guarantee to get you published in this magazine or on that calendar be very careful. We make no promises in this business
However, many girls earn very good livings as full or part time models. They also get the opportunity to travel, and naturally there are fun sides to the modeling business.

Can anybody be a model?

I guess the simple answer to this age old question is YES.

All models are different, tall, short, slim, busty, leggy, whatever. Every man likes something, that’s what makes the world go round. Looks are important but good glamour models have a little something extra. We used to call it “Sex appeal”, but it’s more than that, it’s personality and being one of those lucky people that the camera loves.

Every new model is nervous to begin with. We are expert at putting you at ease, taking our time and helping you as much as possible. Thats why we like to meet you and have a chat a week or so before we go into the studio.

Who buys glamour photo’s?

Dirty old men in raincoats in some seedy backstreet magazine shop???

Think again.

The glamour industry in the UK is huge. Newspapers, Men’s and Lads magazines, Hot Car & Bike Magazines, Calendars, Promotional material and of course the Internet. Also many studios hold open days for amateur photographers to practice their skills, this can provide a good source of revenue and give you the chance to practice your posing technique.
and that’s just in the UK!

Your aim is to get published and get noticed, that’s the way you will get more work.
We can help you on your first steps and beyond, we can submit work to magazines and agencies on your behalf and hopefully we can become a partnership together. We can also advise you about you portfolio and other photographers to visit to make sure your portfolio is nicely balanced.

Oh, and don’t forget, when choosing outfits, fashion dates very quickly, you may want your photo’s to last for a while!

What you will need.

A reasonable selection of your own outfits is a good start. When looking for outfits look for the unusual. Check out the Internet, there are a number of good companies in the UK that sell “sexy” outfits, fetish wear etc., at very reasonable prices. DON’T SPEND TOO MUCH.

Always remember that it’s you who will be wearing the outfit, so you have to be comfortable in it.
